Rail Use in Great Britain

The RAC Foundation has commissioned Professor Joyce Dargay from the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds to analyse the frequency of rail use in Great Britain.

Using data from the National Travel Survey (NTS), the brief summarises rail use by area, trip length, household income, and car ownership in Great Britain in 2007 (the most recent data available when the report was compiled in 2010).
