The Royal Automobile Club Foundation has appointed Rodney Kumar to the position of Media Relations Manager, for a sixth month period effective 3 March.
Rodney will be responsible for publicising and promoting the work of the foundation, which is a registered charity established to protect and promote the interest of the responsible motorist.
He will be involved in communicating all aspects of the foundation’s work, and alongside Sheila Rainger, Acting Director, be the main point of contact for the media.
Rodney brings with him extensive experience as a journalist and public relations officer, including long spells with Hyundai UK, Ford of Europe and British Airways.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining the RAC Foundation at this time. Issues affecting the motorist have never been of greater interest than now, and I am eager to promote the good work of the foundation to a wider audience.
“I also look forward to speaking with, and meeting the many people I already know in the field, as well as those beyond it.”
