Dr Chris Catt of Tonic Analytics explains how he is coming to a better understanding of the impacts and costs of disruption to the strategic road network, particularly diesel spills. Tonic Analytics’ work is part of both the Galileo programme – a joint venture between Highways England and the National Police Chiefs Council to create and maintain a safe, secure and efficient road network – and the RAC Foundation-led Road Collision Investigation Project.
